The New 2009 Equator Out Selling Used Toyota

Friday, January 29th, 2010

When purchasing a Used Toyota Tacoma, lets keep in mind the superiority of a Toyota and the resale value for all Used Toyota Yaris, it’s not lets say, as good as purchasing a Used Dodge but it does have an advantage over the competition.
The 2009 Suzuki Equator is Manufactured with a pretty quick 6 cylinder, not as good as the Toyota Tundra V6, which has a bunch of strength for every weekend getaway and light duty work pickup assignment. The less expensive 4 cylinder motor is also offered in the Equator, getting much better fuel mileage than the six cylinder  is a plus, but if I’m going four wheeling or late for a ball game the higher tourque six cylinder is the one I’m taking.
Creating an abundance of horsepower, six cylinder series are up for almost every job, hooked to the V6 is a strong automatic transmission that shifts with no hesitation at all. Precise Steering, and a comfortable ride that is unexpectedly pleasurable for a pickup.
The RMZ-4’s off-road handling setup makes that rough ride act a bit more like a truck. The four wheel drive series are capable of pond jumping, thanks to having road clearance of 10” and an abundance of suspension travel.
The less expensive base Equator is naked and equipped with 15” steel alloy wheels and bucket seats with a center console but not much else, A/C or a stereo system is your basic. The Premium series has 16” aluminum wheels, a rear slide glass, a tilt steering wheel, keyless entry, full power accessories and upgraded cloth seats. Opting for the Sport gets you 17” alloy wheels, a rhino coated bed liner and must have tie-down hooks in the bed.
The RMZ-4 adds chrome exterior components, beefed up axles, an electrical locking rearend, Bilstein shocks, brush plates, 16” alloy rims with all-terrain tires, fog lights, height and lumbar settings for the driver seat and metallic cabin accents. The RMZ-4 Sport adds an upgraded audio system with a CD changer, an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio prep, and Bluetooth capabilities. Oddly enough, an aftermarket style GPS is optional on all crew cabs but not offered on the extended-cab Equators. Bluetooth is optional only on the RMZ-4 crew cab.

Flaws of the Toyota Corolla

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Since its introduction in 1966, the Corolla has changed into one of Toyota’s most popular lines.  This line of compact automobiles by the japanese vehicle manufacturer has established itself as one of the Earth’s best-selling cars.  Actually, since 1997, the Corolla has been the world’s best selling nameplate, with over 35 million units sold since 1996 to 2007.  It is claimed that for the past 40 years, there’s a Corolla auto being sold somewhere in the world every forty seconds.  This popularity has experienced a lot of redesigning and diverse generations of enhancements, as well as changes in the taste of consumers in the auto market.  The Corolla name is Latin for’small crown,’ which is supporter to Toyota’s tradition of naming its flagship brands after the word’crown’ and variations of it.  So, there have been brands ranging from Toyota Crown, Toyota Corona ( Latin for crown ), and Toyota Camry ( Anglicized transcription of the japanese word for crown, kanmuri ).

Toyota Corollas have been manufactured in all continents of the world – in Australia ( production has been ceased however ), in the East ( in Japan, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey ), in South America ( in Brazil and Venezuela ), Africa ( in South Africa ), north America ( in Canada and the U.  S.  ), and Europe ( Derbyshire in the UK ).  {However ,} production of Corollas in the Toyota facility in Freemont, California is slated to stop by March 2010.  There have been ten generations of Corollas manufactured, with the newest generation introduced in 2006.  The Corolla brand has been discontinued in Southeast Asian nations since the ninth generation, and that market has utilised the brand Toyota Altis since.  In the united states, sales figures have been stable, still even reaching above 350,000 units sold in the country in 2008, despite a recession.  Figures topped in 2006, when more than 380,000 Corollas were sold in America alone.

One of Toyota’s premiere models

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Since 1980, japanese auto manufacturer Toyota has made a compact car named the Toyota Celica Camry.  The Camry became its own brand in 1982, and through the improvements in the generations, the Camry has been categorized as a mid-sized auto.  The brand name’Camry’ is really derived from the japanese word kanmuri, that means’crown.’ The brand also showed how Camry became one of Toyota’s premiere models, as the Corporation has had a custom of naming its primary models after the word’crown.’ Examples of this are the brands Toyota Crown, Toyota Corolla and Toyota Corona, all of which are derivations of the royal accessories.  The Toyota Camry is regarded as a top end vehicle brand, such that Camry models are used as executive cars in the East and Southeast Asian markets.  It is one of Toyota’s best selling autos in most of its markets.  In the US, the Camry has solidly been the state’s top selling car in the 1990s, although the 2000s have seen other cars outselling it.

The Camry is also well-positioned in the Canadian, Australian, and Southeast Asian markets, particularly in Cambodia.  However the western european market has been immune to the Camry’s charms so much so that sales of the Camry in Europe has ceased since 2004, letting Toyota replace it with the Toyota Avensis.  The Camry is considered as more executive and less sporty compared to its rivals, apart from its SE or sort trim.  The brand has been available for 7 generations, excluding the Celica Camry make when it was first manufactured.  While the present generation’s wheelbase was reworked to be longer, trunk space has been reduced.  The Camry model for 2010 will include some changes like reworked taillights and fascia, a new 2AR-FE 4-cylinder engine with 2.5 liter capacity and 6 speed transmissions.  This generation is also the first with a gasoline – electrical cross-breed version, which is promoted as an environmental-friendly car.

Toyota Tundra Vs. The Suzuki Equator

Friday, December 18th, 2009

When test driving a Used Toyota Tacoma, lets keep in mind the excellence of a Toyota and the resale value for all Used Toyota Corollia, it’s not lets say, as good as purchasing a Used Chrysler but it does have an advantage over the competition.
The 2009 Suzuki Equator has been Manufactured with a powerful six cylinder, not as good as the Toyota Tundra V6, which has a bunch of strength for all weekend projects and light duty work truck assignment. The less expensive 4 cylinder engine is also offered in the 2009 Suzuki, achieving a lot better fuel mileage than the V6  is one benefit, but if I’m doing a big job or late for a ball game the more horsepower V6 is the one for me.
Creating an whole mess of low-end torque, six cylinder models are up for almost any chore, bolted to the six cylinder is a reliable automatic transmission that shifts out like a dream. Precise Steering, and ride quality is unexpectedly pleasurable for a truck.
The RMZ-4’s off-road handling setup makes that bumpy ride act a bit more like a truck. The 4WD models are capable of off roading, thanks to having road clearance of ten inches and a great amount of suspension travel.
The cheaper base Equator is naked and fitted with 15” steel alloy wheels and bucket seats with a console but little else, air-conditioning or a music system is standard. The Premium series has sixteen inch aluminum rims, a rear slide glass, a tilt steering wheel, remote entry, all power accessories and comfortable cloth seats. Choosing the Sport gets you 17” aluminum rims, a rhino coated bed liner and easy to use tie-down anchors in the bed.
The RMZ-4 provides chrome exterior components, beefed up axles, an electrical locking rearend, Bilstein shocks, brush plates, 16” aluminum rims with meat hogs for tires, fog lights, height and lumbar settings for the driver seat and metallic interior highlights. The RMZ-4 Sport upgrades are a stereo system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio prep, and Bluetooth capabilities. It’s a mystery that an aftermarket style navigation system is optional on all crew cabs but not offered on the extended-cab Equators. Bluetooth is an option only on the RMZ-4 crew cab.

I Am Undecided Whether To Lease Or Buy A New Car

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009

Having just started a new job I feel that the time is right for me to be looking into buying a new car. To be honest I have owned my Fiat Punto for over 6 years now, and although she has done me well, she is looking a bit battered and bruised.

I have a bit of a quandary as to which car I should be looking to invest in?

My biggest problem is because there are so many cars available I would hate to make a wrong choice and be stuck with a car I get fed up with after a few years.

A mate of mine suggested that perhaps it would be a good idea to look at the merits of leasing a car for a few years. My initial feelings were that this would be too expensive as I would be paying out money each month on a lease, when I could buy a car outright.

I decided to do some investigative work and get all the facts and figures together to see what deals were around for Cheap Lease Cars.

I will admit to being surprised by some of the competitive deals on offer, but still not sure about which car to choose.

My very first car was a Vauxhall Nova, so I thought that probably looking into Vauxhall Contract Hire would be a good place to start.

Although Vauxhall has some great models available, I must admit I was thinking about leasing a car that was a bit more in line with my new company status.

My partner owns a lovely Toyota Avensis and he is really pleased with his car. His car is very reliable and to date he has not had any problems with it. With this in mind, I conducted a search into Toyota Contract Hire and I was more than impressed with the Toyota Landcruiser. This seems like a brilliant car, certainly large enough for my family and plenty of room for the shopping, it will also look impressive out in the company car park.

I think the Landcruiser will suit me very well for the next 3 years. What is brilliant is that at the end of the 3 year lease, I can buy the car.
